How do billing and auto-renewals work?

Month-to-month subscriptions renew on the 1st of each month. If this is your first time signing up, you will be billed immediately for your first subscription. Afterward, you will be billed every month on the 1st of the month for your next cycle. 

If you have purchased a 3 or 6-month subscription, you will be billed once for all of the months you have purchased. Multi-month subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel by the last day of your subscription cycle.  

What box will I receive when I order?

New members who order by 11:59 p.m. (CST) on the 15th of the month will receive that month’s themed box. All boxes will ship on the 20th.


Can I cancel my subscription?

Log into your account and select EDIT on your active subscription, then click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION. If you purchased a 3 or 6-month plan you have already been billed for any months remaining in your cycle, but your subscription will not renew after that. If you are month-to-month, you need to cancel by the last day of the current month to avoid being billed on the first day of the next month.   


How can I tell when my subscription will end? 

You can visit My Account to review your plan details.


How can I update the address associated with my subscription?

You can update the address information in your customer account by logging into My Account


What is the recommended age range?

We have found that our subscribers tend to range between the ages of 3 and 8. While it may require more involvement from adults, we believe younger kids can enjoy the content while older kids work independently.


Is there a new theme every month?

Yes, we have a fun theme each month. We do not repeat our themes so you can get the most out of your membership for as long as you want.


Is the content Spanish or English?

BOTH!  We recognize that each family is unique and language predominance may vary. That's why our content is in both Spanish and English.  


How does it work for siblings?

Activities can be completed together. However, we understand that each kid might be interested in their individual items. You can purchase a Sibling Add-On including the non-shareable activities.


What's the shipping policy? 

Currently, we only ship to the United States and Puerto Rico. There is a flat-rate of $5.00. If you are interested in placing an international order, contact us directly at info@wearerootedbox.com


Are orders refundable?

Prior to your box shipping, please contact us at info@wearerootedbox.com and we will make arrangements to cancel your order when possible. After your order has shipped, refunds are not allowed. If you have a problem with your order, please let us know, your satisfaction is very important to us.

Prepaid subscriptions are not refundable. That being said, we understand unforeseen circumstances so contact us with any concerns.


Can I return my order?

Once your box has shipped all orders are final and we do not accept returns. If you have a problem with your order, please let us know, we would like to ensure your satisfaction and will help where we can.
