It is time to say goodbye.

I started Root-Ed in October 2020 when my daughter was 5. Today, we say goodbye to a project that will always be close to our hearts.

As a Puerto Rican mom, I always shared my culture with my daughter. That included swapping mac n cheese for arroz con habichuelas and dancing to salsa on Sundays. But, beyond our food and music, I wanted her to learn and love everything about our isla del encanto. I constantly searched for resources but I couldn't find exactly what I needed.

What started with a day of arts & crafts about Puerto Rico, became an educational box for kids. I wanted to create something special that could help other families that have the same dreams to raise kids that love their Puerto Rican roots.

We look back proud of what we created, hoping we inspired kids to learn and love their family roots while having fun.
